The “Quarterdeck Summer Bar” is located in Basel Harbour and, as the name suggests, is a meeting place for the hotter months of the year. Inspired by a wide variety of destinations, the homemade drinks take you on a sea trip around the world. However, you can also enjoy classic and non-alcoholic drinks on the sun-protected deck.
The quarter deck is the most elevated area of the upper deck behind the main mast. Only the captain, officers and sea cadets were allowed to stay there on warships. In keeping with the name of the bar, we give the well-known captain James Cook a summery look and bring him back to the present day. In addition, the bright colors help the desired summery feeling. When creating the logo, we were inspired by old boat names painted by hand.
