The Flims Laax Falera ski area, with its four snow parks and the largest halfpipe in Europe, is one of the largest contiguous winter sports regions in Switzerland. But it's not just worth a visit in winter — in summer, Flims Laax Falera becomes a huge playground for active guests. In order to provide visitors with the best possible information and improve their experience, the latest updates on lifts, slopes, weather and snow conditions are updated live on a screen network throughout the ski area. This technology ensures that guests are always aware of current conditions and can plan their activities accordingly, no matter what time of year they visit the region.
With our customer's existing TV screen network, we have developed a clearly structured digital information board that presents information as completely and up to date as possible both online and on TV screens. The decision to divide the resort into three sections of altitude allows a simplified presentation of weather information. Animation details such as weather symbols and a panoramic webcam photo help to make the information boards more attractive. In addition, digital boards were created for slope and lift reports, including a resort map with the current status of slopes and lifts.
